Reduce Bottled Water Consumption and SAVE $$$
Bottled water, on average, tested to have varying levels of acidity, depending upon the brand. Only a few brands tested were mildly alkaline. Even the brands that advertised themselves as alkaline did not test to be the same pH as stated on the bottle. At the time of bottling, the pH may have matched what was stated on the bottle but transportation, storage, heat and time all affect the pH. The fact is that water loses its alkalinity over time when stored in a plastic bottle (PET). In most cases, you’re not getting what you paid for and your favourite brand of bottled water is probably acidic. Tap water is not a good option either. You just have to research the chemicals used to treat drinking water, and that should make you think twice before consumption.
